Autism Speaks

Prior to joining Autism Speaks in 2007, Marianne worked for 9 years with the Cure Autism Now (CAN) Foundation in Los Angeles, where she worked as the Family Recruitment Manager for the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange (AGRE) a gene bank made up of families with more than one member diagnosed with autism. In 2007, she joined the Autism Speaks Family Services Team where is charged with managing Regional Programs and Services outreach in local communities. 

Prior to joining Autism Speaks/CAN, Marianne worked in various mental health settings, she is the founder of two nonpublic schools for children with autism, and serves as Board President of the Coryell Autism Center in Santa Cruz, California. Marianne is a graduate of Emory University, in Atlanta, GA, where she holds a Master’s of Nursing degree in Psychiatric/Community Mental Health. Marianne lives in San Francisco Bay Area and has two adult sons, one who is diagnosed with autism.
