Paul Carbone is a general pediatrician with an interest and experience in the area of autism and related developmental disabilities. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. As an academic pediatrician, Dr. Carbone works closely with families of children with disabilities. His clinical settings are varied and include the Title V CSHCN program, and University's Child Development Clinic. His general pediatric practice is within the University of Utah Neurobehavior H.O.M.E. Program, a lifespan clinic that provides comprehensive services for individuals with developmental disabilities. He is a current member of the Council on Children with Disabilities Autism Subcommittee of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Within the area of education he is currently the autism coordinator for the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Program. Dr. Carbone has lectured extensively both locally and nationally around the topic of ASDs and is the co-editor of a book published by the AAP titled, Autism Spectrum Disorders: What Every Parent Needs to Know.
